Sinkholes in Israel

There have being 8000 sinkholes recorded in the dead sea near Israel. So they have definitely occured in Israel nearly for fourth years of this occurrence.

According to the times of Israel prevention is not applicable,"The Dead Sea is at a deficit of one billion cubic meters per year and this was supposed to bring 200 million cubic meters,” he said. “It would slow the drop but not prevent it.”,

but they are demanding that they stabilize it to some degree.Sinkholes are almost unpredictable and tend to form because of rain in my opinion and near mountains.

Also using seismic waves they can study these sinkholes in Israel and see how they are formed and become.I also see sinkholes as a major catastrophe because people or cars could fall in them and be at great risk.According to an article in eos.org "Sinkholes around the Dead Sea are not just destructive, explained Hussam Alrshdan, a geophysicist at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Amman, Jordan.
